Official Synopsis
Şahsu (serenay sarikaya), a psychology lecturer from Istanbul, travels to Adana for a lecture and decides to face her estranged grandfather, who abandoned her mother years ago. However, she soon finds herself pulled into a mysterious and unusual community called Mar, who are descended from the mythical Shahmaran (a half-woman, half-snake creature).
Believing in the ancient legend, the Mar people await the fulfillment of a historical prophecy with the arrival of Şahsu. Her life changes forever when she crosses paths with a mysterious man named Maran (burak deniz) , a half-human, half-snake being who is destined to fall in love with her to restore peace between the species and avert a global catastrophe.
